Brynn, a native of Earth, is one of the protagonists of Vantage. Following his transportation to Vantage on December 26, 2012, he allied with a Nemein tribe on their several year journey for Precurser technology. Brynn was transported 20 feet above the Nemian camp. He fell straight into a spear which punched out a fist sized hole just above his heart. The Nemiens, thinking he was a test from the Precursers, did their standard medical procedure to stop him from dieing. This process involves taking a piece of Precurser technology and filling the wound, frying the flesh around it so it sticks and then keeping bedside watch until death or recovery. Brynn was in a coma for a month and a half before awakening to the new world. Luckily the artifact was an actual medical one and it now works like a hormonal buffer in keeping his immune system and hormone levels in check as well as keeping from ever needing to sleep.
